Alteo is looking for a Level 1 and 2 IT Technician for a contract position based in Laval. Three-month contract with the possibility of permanent employment. 100% on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, peripherals, mobile devices, and software
- Provide technical support to users
- (on-site and remotely)
- Train and assist users with internal IT tools
- Manage IT equipment inventory and stock
- Diagnose and resolve hardware or software failures
- Ensure operating systems and software are up to date
- Manage user accounts and access rights (Active Directory, O365, etc.)
- Apply internal IT management procedures
- Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of security rules (updates, Intune deployment, etc.)
- Participate in the evolution of IT support automation using Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Entra
Profile:
- DEC in IT or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in office environments (Microsoft 365 and Windows 10 & 11)
- Proficiency in managing iPhone, iPad, and Android devices
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Proficiency in remote support tools, primarily Intune
- Knowledge of cybersecurity (an asset)
- Bilingualism in spoken and written English, as the position involves working with English-speaking suppliers and customers
- Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude

- Responsibility and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both verbal and written
