Alteo is looking for an IT Supervisor for a permanent position based in Montreal (South Shore).
*** Hybrid work: 3 days in the office / 2 days remote ***
You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 9 programmer analysts.
Responsibilities:
> Team Management / HR (70%)
- Support team members in developing their expertise, encouraging versatility and professional growth
- Participate in recruitment and foster team engagement
- Track objectives and conduct performance evaluations
- Coordinate compensation and access management
> IT Management (30%):
- In collaboration with the Head of Services, oversee budget tracking and capacity management for the department
- Manage external vendors: contracts, requisitions, purchase orders, invoicing, and quality of deliverables
- Ensure the quality of IT services by adhering to service level agreements, performance indicators, and current IT standards
- Ensure compliance with Agile methodologies and Cascades’ IT governance
- Create an environment conducive to innovation, collaboration, and creative thinking (establishment of communities of practice, creative workshops, etc.)
- Oversee and structure citizen development initiatives (low-code/no-code applications), ensuring quality, security, and alignment with technological guidelines
- Participate in defining the technological vision and contribute to innovation and continuous improvement projects
Profile:
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in IT and team management
- Motivating and supportive leadership style
- Performance- and results-oriented
- Ability to create an environment conducive to change
- Knowledge of citizen development platforms (e.g., Power Platform, low-code/no-code tools) and ability to establish best practices for their use
- Ability to communicate effectively with business analysts and developers to ensure consistency in solutions and adherence to best development practices (code quality, integration, security)
