Alteo is looking for a Solutions Architect for a permanent position based in Montreal (downtown).

Working for a medium-sized company specializing in the development and integration of e-commerce solutions, your main role will be to analyze customer needs, recommend technological solutions and coach the team in project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project definition workshops with customers
- Analyze and recommend architecture adapted to customer needs
- Work with project managers and development teams to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, on budget and, above all, on scope.
- Where necessary, participate in pre-sales of web projects
- Contribute to the design, maintenance and development of web applications, CMS and e-commerce websites
- Contribute to the consistency and quality of developments by taking part in joint code reviews, and following good development and testing practices.
- Work in an Agile development environment, be part of the SCRUM team and contribute to the improvement of the internal functioning of the team
- Where necessary, collaborate with external suppliers and partners and integrate their systems/tools with our solutions
Profile:
- DEC/BAC in IT, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience in software and web development
- 3+ years' experience in software architecture
- Strong Windows environment skills (.Net, Azure etc.)
- Proven experience in Web project delivery
- Proven experience in solution integration (CMS, transactional solutions etc.)
- Knowledge of Umbraco, Optimizely, Orckestra, Ucommerce (asset)
- Entrepreneurial spirit that takes ownership of projects
- Functional leadership of team, including coaching
- Ability to easily develop good interpersonal relationships and communicate effectively.
