*** Hybrid work: 3 days per week in the office ***
As a senior engineer, you’ll shape the architecture, reliability, and evolution of the company platform. You’ll manage development/staging/product environments, write production code, fix bugs, and design resilient systems powering natural-language cloud automation. You’ll work directly with the management to engineer AI-driven cloud orchestration systems, bridging cutting-edge research with production-grade infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives at the intersection of deep technical execution and guiding engineering direction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and harden development, staging, and production environments.
- Write robust software to ship new product features and maintain high-quality code.
- Debug and fix complex bugs across distributed systems.
- Architect reliable and scalable cloud-native systems, ensuring security and performance.
- Engineer AI-based orchestration pipelines for cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate with founders on product direction and technical strategy.
Profile:
- 5+ years experience in software engineering, with strong exposure to infrastructure/platform/SRE.
- Proficiency in cloud engineering across AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).
- Advanced understanding of Kubernetes (controllers, operators, cluster internals).
- Strong coding ability in Go, Rust, or Python with solid systems fundamentals (distributed systems, networking, concurrency).
- Hands-on with policy-as-code (OPA/Rego or similar).
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating production-grade cloud systems.
- A mindset that balances hands-on execution with guiding engineering best practices.
- Experience building or scaling AI/ML-powered systems (asset).
- Contributions to OSS (Terraform, Kubernetes, Pulumi, CNCF projects) (asset).
- Familiarity with service mesh, eBPF, or advanced cloud security practices (asset).
