Alteo is looking for a Java Back-End Developer for a permanent position based in Montreal.
The Java Back-End Developer will work on SAAS products within a dynamic company that is a leader in its field.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new functionalities in the applications used by our editors to publish content and in our public websites.
- Implement measures to measure the quality of the solution developed: response time, functional coverage of tests, etc.
- Optimize the performance and reliability of our applications, both at server and client level.
- Technically support the solution once in production: manage anomalies, ensure its durability by refreshing technologies, etc.
- Manage the ingestion and processing of large amounts of data and the performance challenges this represents.
Profile:
- DEC/BAC in IT or equivalent
- 0-3 years' experience as a Java Developer
- Good knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of Python (asset)
- Good knowledge of : Linux, PostgreSQL, SOLR, Git, Apache-*, Spring-*, Maven, Jenkins, etc. (asset)
- Good communication skills in French (oral and written)
